The Lakestone SL

The essence of this design is the shape of a jumbo but with a small body size. We get a big bass response from OM and Jumbos, which we wanted to keep but in a smaller package. Hence the name, 'Small Lakestone'.

We have kept the body as deep as our jumbos to compensate for any bass loss, 105mm depth at neck joint to 125mm depth at the lower bout. Because the of the extra depth, we have included the bevel feature as standard on this model.

The bracing design, although inspired by other designs, is lakestone’s own design named the 'Sturgeon Bracing'.

As on all our models, the slimmer thickness of the neck and low action helps to give a very comfortable and faster play.

This model is quickly becoming our best selling guitar. A great all-round player; suited to both fingerpicking and strumming and with plenty of projection asnd volumn due to the extra depth. Balanced across all the different frequencies, a strong bass response without being boomy.
